Personal use review of the Prolux Vacuum: My daughter bought the Prolux Vacuum this past week. I’ve been an avid user (and LOVER) of the Rainbow vacuum cleaner for 30 years. I just had to see how this machine compares to mine.
The Prolux vacuum does not disappoint. It has excellent suction, cleans the carpet and hard surfaces just as well as the Rainbow, and shares many of the features as well.
The Prolux comes in a little bit less expensive than the Rainbow. Because of the similarities, I had no problem learning to use all of the attachments. The Prolux vacuum comes with a nice array of attachments to help you clean nearly anything. It does have an optional shampooer that my daughter did not buy, so I can’t tell you if there are similarities.
After just one use, I would consider the Prolux vacuum if I had to replace my Rainbow of 30 years.
While there are a few different water filter vacuums on the market now, The Prolux vacuum CTX is the closest comparing vacuum I have tried so far. It does come in just a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Rainbow.
The Prolux CTX Canister Vacuum Cleaner is an innovative cleaning solution for those who value both functionality and health benefits in a vacuum. Its comprehensive set of attachments allows for meticulous cleaning across various surfaces, while its dual functionality as an air purifier enhances the living environment. Despite its higher price point and some minor design issues, the Prolux vacuum CTX stands out as a high-quality, versatile cleaning tool. Its European engineering and lifetime warranty further cement its status as a reliable and effective choice for deep cleaning and maintaining indoor air quality. Whether tackling regular household dirt or specific cleaning challenges, the Prolux vacuum CTX is equipped to handle it all, making it a valuable addition to any home.

- Always maintain the water level within the basin’s limits and replace dirty water before reuse.
